Description
You will first do the brief paperwork that will allow you to exit airport without paying taxes. Then we will continue to Jiquilisco Bay, a UNESCO Biosphere reserve. It is El Salvador´s largest and most important wetland and the largest mangrove estuarine system in Northern Mesoamerica. It contains mangrove forest, estuaries, sand bars beaches, 27 islands of varying size, fresh water lagoons and seasonally flooded forest.
Its 637 square kilometers, represent a transit point to at least 87 species of migratory birds.
During our tour, we will walk through a forest in search of flora and fauna. We will be able to spot a spider monkey community. We will enjoy lunch with a beautiful view of the bay and then we will have the option to add optional activities like: kayaking, boat tour or just enjoy the facilities including the swimming pool.
Return to airport for connecting flight.
