Release newly hatched sea turtles and learn about their conservation.
Help newly hatched turtles emerge from their nests and release up to 300 of them into the Pacific Ocean while learning from the nursery manager about the conservation program they are implementing.
Visit El Icacal, located in the eastern part of El Salvador, one of the country’s most beautiful beaches, where four species of sea turtles nest: Leatherback, Hawksbill, Olive Ridley, and Green turtles, all of which are considered endangered species. At night, we will patrol the beach, observing sea turtles as they lay their eggs. During the day, we will participate in activities at the turtle nursery, including the release of newly hatched sea turtles. The area also features beautiful mangroves and is home to a wide variety of birds.
