You will first do the brief paperwork that will allow you to exit airport without paying taxes.  We will then start heading towards San Salvador, the second largest city of Central America with a population of about 1.8 million people. We will stop in a viewpoint to appreciate the whole city and San Salvador Volcano in the background. Then we will continue through the commercial areas and main avenues of modern San Salvador. Then we will start going up towards  San Salvador´s Volcano where we will reach an altitude of about 1,800 meters above sea level enjoying spectacular views of the city. We will walk through the trail that leads us to the edge of the crater (Boquerón, which means BIG MOUTH) which is almost 600 meters deep and 1.6 kilometers in diameter.
