DAY 2

Today, enjoy a boat tour through the Granada Islets in Lake Nicaragua and explore the charming town of Granada.

DAY 3

Today we will head west towards Leon. On the way, we will visit Masaya Volcano and Market. Night in Leon.

DAY 4

We will continue west towards Potosi Port where we will board a boat to cross the Fonseca Gulf from Nicaragua to El Salvador, witnessing the local fishermen and beautiful views of islands and volcanoes.

DAY 5

In El Icacal community, we will visit a local rural school sponsored by our own nonprofit organization. We will also learn about the sea turtle conservation program. Afternoon continue to Suchitoto for overnight.

DAY 6

Suchitoto is an inviting town for walking. We will also learn about Indigo: A Maya natural colorant extracted from a plant. You will be able to dye your own scarf.

We will continue west towards the border of El Salvador with Guatemala. Then we will continue to Antigua Guatemala.

Today we will explore Antigua Guatemala, its churches, plazas and charming streets. Also enjoy a free afternoon.
