Right at the heart of Jiquilisco Bay (a UNESCO biosphere reserve), Puerto Barillas is centrally located between volcanoes and cacao plantations, surrounded by tropical flora and ocean views. We offer an ecological getaway, with no crowds, in a peaceful environment. This eco friendly hotel is located approximatly 1.5- 2 hours from the capital city and 1 hour from El Salvador International Airport. We will do everything to ensure that your stay in Puerto Barillas is a pleasant and memorable experience.

The Marina provides a bi-weekly courtesy shuttle service into town in air conditioned passenger vans for the guests to get food or other goods at the local market or supermarket. Guests may visit cacao plantations or roam and explore the beautiful Hacienda San Jose de La Carrera, which features a population of spider monkeys that will gladly interact with tourists.

The tree houses offer: Bathroom, grill, hot water, large room, double bed and a bunk bed, AC, Direct TV. The apartments are fully equipped with terrace, double bed, AC, spacious bathroom, living and dining room, Futon (sofa bed for 2 people), fully equipped kitchen, refrigerator, dishwasher, toaster, dishes, silverware and more.
